Folks, it’s time for another Twin Cities Tumblr meetup, and for my money, there’s only one place worth doing it: the newly opened Donny Dirk’s Zombie Den.
I checked this joint out last week and it’s pretty fantastic: not at all over the top and actually quite classy. In fact, if it weren’t for the intentionally bad horror flicks on the flat screen TVs or the emergency chainsaw behind glass (in case of zombie attack), you’d think you’ve been transported back to a secret prohibition style speakeasy. It’s giving me warm fuzzies just thinking about it!
The only thing is that it’s not super huge, so I should probably let them know we’re coming. Reblog or like this if you’re down and I’ll try to get a headcount before I give them a head’s up. Also, it might be a bit of a trek for some, but I think it will be well worth it. We could even organize a bicycle caravan out there.
